Cowtown is My Hometown

I consider myself a Fort Worth Native after moving here as a toddler. I graduated from Arlington Heights High School and because of my great LOVE for Fort Worth, I stuck close to home for college. I graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelors Degree in Advertising/Public Relations and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship.

I have a great passion for spaces that inspire. While I am Realtor by trade, I also love house styles and interior design . From helping clients purchase their first home to renovating my own 100 year old City Farmhouse, I truly enjoy all facets of real estate and creating a home.

I have been a licensed Realtor since 2010 where I started at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and earned Rookie of the Year in my first year. Since then, consistently earning top producer.

I am detail oriented and an expert at assisting with the buying and selling process from start to finish. Whether a first time home buyer or an avid mover-my 10 years of experience, knowledge of Fort Worth and my dedication to customer service promise an exceptional real estate experience.

I am actively involved in many organizations in Fort Worth including; the TCU Young Professionals Network, GFWAR Young Professionals Network, Christ Chapel Women in the Word, Cowtown Ball and Meals on Wheels.

When I am not working on a home project with my husband or helping my clients with their Real Estate needs, you can find me browsing antique stores, walking the trails with our dog Sunny, boating on Lake Granbury or road tripping to the Texas Hill Country with my family. We love a Sunday drive!

The Story Behind My City Farmhouse

LauraHamilton'sHome-189.jpg

I call this home My City Farmhouse because that’s exactly what it is. Built in 1926, it was the farmhouse on the Wells Dairy Farm in Westworth Village. The actual dairy farm was sold to Carswell Airforce Base in the 1940’s for base housing. So now here she stands in all of her real farmhouse glory surrounded by 1940’s homes and just 3 miles from the city of downtown Fort Worth..

My City Farmhouse is no longer my home but it is significant to me not only because it was my first real estate investment but it evolved my love for restoration, renovation and design.

The cedar shakes, heavily treed lot and large picture windows were just a few of the things that sparked my initial interest. Upon purchasing, this home it had seen better days to say the least but I had a vision and was exited to restore it. I love a home with a story and the seller’s children and long standing neighbors were sure to fill me in. The previous owner was nearly 100, an avid antiquer and even featured in the Star-Telegram as an “American Junker.”
